Object Description
Round bent birch bark lidded basket fully covered on visible portions with decorative quillwork in undyed porcupine quills (white grading to brown). Six-pointed flower or star motif on lid, criss-cross design on sides. Rims of basket and lid reinforced with bundles of sweet grass, sewn on with black cotton thread.
Dimensions: height with lid = 7.1 cm, height to rim = 6.5 cm, diameter = 8.8 cm.
