Object Description
Twined cylindrical soft basket in two colors, natural and dark brown. Warp probably rush, weft corn husk or rush. Rim reinforced with sewn-on strip of leather. Grass- or rush-covered handle consists of two warp elements joined by figure-8 wrapping. Design, in dark on natural background, is in three identical bands, each consisting of 3 large eagle-like birds, four or more duck-like birds, and two face-like geometric shapes.
Dimensions: height = 24.2 cm, diameter = 19.5 cm.
