Twined corn husk bag: geometric motifs

Object Description
Twined rectangular bag, made of cotton twine but almost entirely covered with corn husk "false embroidery"; only the bottom and a narrow band at top show the cotton. Two leather thong handles. Decorative design consists of multicolored geometric motifs on natural ground. One side has five eight-pointed stars, four in red, orange, and faded blue, and one in blue, orange, green, natural, and red. Reverse side has two vertical columns of four jagged-edged diamonds in blue, orange, and purple-red.
Dimensions: height = 27 cm, max. width = 24 cm, depth = 1.5 cm.
