A Vanium Chief on his "Seat" with his supporters close by. Note his "Crown" and the skull covered wine gourd. An important shot, per Chris Geary, 1/83. Cameroons. George Schwab, 1929-30. See a print (H11549), very nearly identical to this - but it's from a smaller, sharper negative.
