Object Description Written on board: "Bowie County, Texas. 34-119. / E. H. Moore's Plantation, on Red River 10 1/2 mi. N.W. of Texarkana. Found at depth of 35" from a midden deposit in a mound. Earthenware pipe of "handle" type; well made, no decoration other than slight indentations around rim of bowl and down back of handle. / Photo natural size. / Gift of J. E. Pearce, Chairman of Department of Anthropology, University of Texas."
