Object Description Written on board: "Wood County, Texas. 34-119. / J. C. McGinnis farm, 5 mi. S. of Yantis. Long stemmed earthenware pipe from midden mound. Stem was broken, and part missing. This type of pipe with stem projecting beyond the bowl is rarely found in E. Texas. Same type as found by M. R. Harrington at the Mineral Springs and Washington sites in Arkansas. / Gift of J. E. Pearce, Chairman of Department of Anthropology, University of Texas."
