Object Description
Written on board: "Anderson County, Texas. 34-119 / A. C. Saunders farm, 2 1/2 mi. E. of Frankston. Tubular clay pipe or large clay bead found in a midden mound, near large ash mound, 1 mi. W. of Neches River. In same midden were found fragments of many pipes, but this was the only tubular specimen. Is large enough for a pipe has no signs of fire on inside. Length: 2 1/8", diameter (at ends) 3/4". Photo actual size."
