Open end of bowl toward chin, with stem pointing away from skull. Large stem hole extends upward in stem for 3/4"; at which point the diameter of the hole abruptly changes to about 1/8". Crudely made. Too(?) decoration. Much of surface polish has been removed by chemical action of the soil. For use with auxiliary stem. Slight ridge, or protrusion at base of bowl.
