Object Description Written on board: "Williamson County, Texas. 34-119. / C. P. Mather farm, 8 mi. N. of Liberty Hill, on N. San Gabriel River. C. A. Mather Collection. (Specimen loaned for photographing.) / Lizard carved in relief on limestone is 4" long, 1 3/4" wide (toe to toe), and stands 1/8" to 1/4" in relief. Tail curves slightly over edge of stone. / May be a fake. / Gift of J. E. Pearce, Chairman of Department of Anthropology, University of Texas."
