Object Description
Wooden mask. Represents the spirit of a Tlingit. Pursed position of the lips indicates that he is singing or talking loudly. Face is painted blue as for ceremonial feast, with the feathers of a raven or another bird. Red used to highlight lips and nostrils and for a circle which surrounds whole face. Shape of the mouth suggests that she is singing "Koots."
