Object Description
Brocaded ceremonial sash of white z-spun single ply wool in plain weave with brocade in black, green, blue and red s-spun 3-ply wool. Two panels, each with brocade at one end, stitched togehter at plain end with red yarn. Brocade pattern as follows: wide black band with undulating white triangles; green band; black band with four pair of narrow vertical white lines; blue band; black band; wide green band with two red and white diamonds with green diamond in center, separated from edge and each other by three pair of narrow vertical white lines with hooked ends; black band; blue band; black band with four pair of narrow vertical white lines; green band; wide black band with undulating white traingles; red band with squared white zig-zag.
