Object Description
Germantown eyedazzler rug. Analine dye rug, made not earlier than the mid-1880s. Red background with all over pattern of stepped diamonds in magenta, cream, blue-black, cream with colors off-set at points. Eight pointed star-shaped elements with cross in center in similar color variety in center of each diamond. Additional object description under Conservation.
