Object Description
Standard design rug with Ganado colors."Eyedazzler" pattern with two serrated diamonds and two serrated half diamonds up center of rug, and three serrated half diamonds up each side, all formed of concentric stacked lozenges in red, gray, black, red, white and brown. Border bands of gray, red, and black at top and bottom. Warp: white natural handspun wool; weft: white natural handspun wool, black natural handspun wool, augmented, gray - natural handspun black and white wool carded together, red and brown natural handspun wool, aniline dyed. Selvages: 2-ply black cords added in all four edges.
Warp direction 164.5 x weft direction 86.5 x depth .4 cm, plus 5.5-7 cm tassels each corner.
