Object Description
Standard design rug with Ganado colors. Gray background with vertical zigzag lines forming one center and two half serrated diamonds down center of rug, the central diamond formed of concentric bands of stacked lozenges in red, black, white, gray, red, black and white; the four half diamonds at each side of rug outlined by white and black stacked lozenges. Border; red and black bands separated by gray zigzag line at sides and straight gray line top and bottom. Warp: white handspun natural wool; wefts: white natural handspun wool, gray - natural handspun black and white wool carded together, black natural handspun wool, argmented, red natural handspun wool, aniline dyed. Selvages: 2-ply black cords added in all four sides. Warp dimension 152 x weft dimension 92 x depth[see Object Description text entry for extended description]
