Object Description
Ganado rug with Pine Tree design. Red background, across center of rug two serrated black diamonds enclosing small gray stacked elements, and two matching half diamonds at each side; black diamonds connect, top and bottom, with pointed end of larger vertical serrated black triangle enclosing serrated gray triangle, which is in turn connected to tip of a slightly smaller serrated black triangle which rests on a smaller serrated black triangle; general impression of series of conifers. No borders other than red field extending beyond black triangles at top and bottom. Some lazy lines. Warp: white natural handspun wool; wefts: white natural handspun wool, black natural handspun wool augmented, gray - natural handspun black and white wool carded together, red natural handspu[see Object Description text entry for extended description]
