Object Description
Two-faced rug, one side has a dark gray band across center with one f0ull and two three-quarter light orange serrated, flat topped diamond forms with black hour-glass figure in center, a wide serrated band above and below echoing the diamond form in black, then white; a black line runs above one white diamond form, and a purple line below the other, with white border bands at top and bottom. The other side has a central white stripe and alternating black and orange stripes above and below, eleven stripes in all with outer bands forming a black border top and bottom. Warp: white natural handspun wool; wefts: white natural handspun wool, dark gray - natural handspun wool, black natural handspun wool, augmented, orange purple natural handspun wool, vegetal dyed.
