Object Description Written on board: Yaxchilan, Lintel 10. T. Maler 1897 #19 (verso) Excavated from a fallen down edifice in the neighborhood of the Eastern Temple. The most magnificent inscription sculpture of Yaxchilan. Six vertical rows with eight glyphs in each row = 48 glyphs (but many of them perhaps combination glyphs, so that one could count more than 100.) T.M.
