Object Description
Written on board: British Honduras / Kendall / Kendall, Sittee River, British Honduras. Excavations by H.W. Price 1896. / Contents of Grave No. I / The object in the center resting above the suspended breast ornament and beads is a flat piece of jadeite or crystalline limestone having a human face in profile. It has been drilled thru from top to bottom. It has now parted in two down the drilling & shows in that section that it had been drilled from either end to meet in the middle. / The two small cylindrical beads in the string have a deep brown glaze. / From H.
