Object Description Written on board: Peru / (Titicaca Lake) / This vase, now in the Archaeological Collection of William S. Vaux, of Philedelphia, was found in an ancient tomb, near the town of Moho, in the province of Huancané, on the northern border of Lake Titicaca, Peru. It is three feet one and a half inches high and five feet eight inches in circumference. / January, 1867.
