Object Description
Squash blossom necklace from 1950s. Extrememly large necklace with four circular blossoms on each side of silver and turquoise, with a silver four-petalled squash blossom attached to each one. Each of these side elements contains seven turquoise nuggets, set in a delicate silver bezel, one nugget in the center and the others surrounding it. Nuggets are separated by silver balls. The oversized naja contains seven nuggets in the crescent portion, one in the drop, and three at the top. The whole necklace is mounted on two parallel rows of silver beads.
Central pendant: 11 cm high, 10 cm wide, 1.8 cm deep. Side medallions: 10.5 cm high, 6.5-7.5 cm wide, 1 cm deep. Total length of necklace 95 cm.
