Descriptions
Object Description Coiled rod, bowl-shaped, flared basket. Sewing strand is the root of marsh grass, design of fern stem and redbud, and coils of bundles of grass. Natural background with main design consisting of stepped reddish-brown band outlined in dark brown, with four spexes. Three encircling bands near rim of alternating dark brown and natural to produce encircling row in checkerboard pattern. Rim finished in regular rim stitch.
