Descriptions
Object Description Coiled oval bowl-shaped basket of marsh grass with slightly flaring sides. Design is two encircling "rattle snake" bands which consist of reddish-brown stepped diamonds outlined in natural tan background against a black field with one reddish-brown band at the top and bottom. There are a total of four female figures in skirts holding hands on both sides of basket and two similar figures on the ends. Rim finished in regular stitch. Designs are of fern stem and redbud.
