Object Description
Coiled basket made of marsh grass bundles. Basket has a bottle neck with rounded shoulders, pronounced neck and slightly flaring rim. Natural tan background with the main design consisting of two "rattle snake" patterns, one encircling the basket between the bottom and the widest diameter and the other between the widest diameter and the neck. Both bands consist of black stepped triangles alternating with dark reddish-brown stepped diamonds. Rim finished in regular stitch in natural tan background. Designs are of fern stem and redbud. Rim finished in regular stitch.
