Object Description
Coiled globular basket having an attached lid with a closure mechanism. Lid has small looped handle at center. Basket itself has movable handle attached by loops at each side just above widest diameter. Basket made of bundle construction with bundles of bear grass, wefts of yucca, and designs of black martynia pod (Devil Claw?). Natural background with main design consisting of six pointed yellow flower centered at base of basket with petals coming up sides. Petals outlined in band of natural outlined in black, with remaining area of basket in yellow. Movable handle is natural colored with overcast black "V"s. Rim of basket finished in regular stitch in yellow. Design on lid is six pointed yellow star outlined in black against natural background.
