Object Description
Small coiled basket with design consisting of four kachina heads against a natural background. Two are Crow Mother kachinas with yellow faces, black feathers on sides of head, black nose and mouth outlined in natural, and an alternating orange and black headband. Other two kachinas have black faces with natural colored features, yellow triangle headdresses with black decorations, orange headband, and orange and yellow ears. Rim is finished in regular stitch and has small hanger attached. Made of thick and soft grass or yucca bundles sewn with yucca fiber dyed in aniline or vegetal dyes.
