Object Description
Coiled circular plaque with hanger at top. Full figured Mudhead kachina against natural background with a brown body, black skirt, and protruding rattle in right hand. Two red diamonds outlined in black at top of rim, with three yellow diamonds outlined in black on rim to each side of kachina. Rim finished in regular stitch in black, except at bottom of plaque where rim is yellow. Made of thick and soft grass or yucca bundles sewn with yucca fiber dyed in aniline or vegetal dyes. Made by Charlotte Joshuma.
