Display Title Coiled circular plaque with raised turtle motif

Object Description Coiled circular plaque with highly pronounced convex raised ridge that forms the shell of a turtle. Half of the shell is in yellow and half in brown, with black and white trim. Head, feet, and tail in black against natural background. Rim finished in regular stitch in black. Black hanger at top. Made of thick and soft grass or yucca bundles sewn with yucca fiber dyed in aniline or vegetal dyes.
