Written on album page: "Group of Omaha Indians in their harvesting, in Eastern Nebraska. / They said, 'We are glad you are taking our picture. People East think Indians do not work. This / will show them that we do. - The first one on the left of the picture is Iron Eye, the head man of the / Omahas, and the father of 'Bright Eyes' who visited the Eastern States and England to speak on behalf of the Indians. / The tird from the End on the right is Iron Eye's wife, a sapereor, Christian woman, and the fourth is her mother."
