Archaeology and Ethnology, / Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass. / John Cone Kimball, / Photographer, 1887. / 13 - Portion of the Bottom of the Mound on the north side of the Serpent, showing its artificial character. / The stones were brought by the builders from the creek below, and are of a different kind from those belonging to the surface of the cliff."
