Object Description
Border; diagonal design of serrated interlocking forms with "eyes", woven in slit tapestry with eccentric outlining. Motifs: dark blue, dark green, purple, yellow, outlined in red. At side border forms stepped right angle; across bottom, yellow tab fringe. Three widths seamed together to make border, cut from a fine 2-1 plainweave mantle(?) of brown cotton. One warp, six weft selvages. Warp: brown cotton, (s-pairs), with weft crossing 4 warps. Weft: camelid, (z-2s).
