Object Description
Border with all-over diagonal design of alternating rows of crosses and interlocking serpents, woven in complementary weft floats of magenta and yellow camelid (z-2s; warp: brown cotton, (z-2s)). Outer edges form stepped corners; yellow tab fringe along bottom. Three loom widths, seamed to a 1-1 plainweave brown cotton (warp: z-2s, 20 epcm.; weft: z-2s, 12 epcm.). One warp, six weft selvages.
