Object Description
Textile portion of fine plainweave with warp-stripes of brown and blue cotton (s). Appears that piece was in shreds then repaired for further use with loose overhand stitch. Wefts near one end are (z-2s) for (9 cm.), then (s-2z) for (2.5 cm.) area of terminal weaving. Mending: at least 19 areas, most of which run the complete length of cloth, where rips have been mended by bunching the cloth and sewing in running overhand stitch.
