Descriptions
Object Description Textile portion consisting of two widths of 2-1 plainweave tan cotton. Cloth is painted with dark brown pigment in a large seal(?) design of stepped lines and segmented circles. Along one end a row of tasseled headdress motifs. A separately constructed fringe of replied cotton yarns stitched along the warp selvages. Two warp, three weft selvages. Warp: tan cotton, (s-pairs), 9 ppcm. Weft: tan cotton, (s), 9 epcm.
