Object Description Textile of open 1-1 plainweave tan cotton, decorated with two pairs of interlocked birds woven with discontinuous yellow, gold, white supplementary wefts (z-2s). Piece folded in half, parallel to warp. Between the two layers of plainweave is a thin layer of unspun cotton. Stitched together along warp selvage and side where two weft selvages are brought together. Second cloth joined along this edge, but is cut. One warp, two weft selvages. Warp: tan cotton, (s), 9 epcm. Weft: tan cotton, (z), 9 epcm.
