Object Description
Doll; rectanglur bag of leaves (19 x 14 cm.) supports figure constructed of bundled split canes inserted at angle into bag. Figure has large rectangular head, elaborate headdress, face paint embroidered in dark brown, magenta, green, yellow, white camelid (2s-plied). Camelid "hair" attached at top of head, covered w/knotted net of blue and white cotton yarns. Cane arms w/five fingers made of canes wrapped w/magenta camelid. Tunic of warp-striped 1-1 plainweave brown and dark brown cotton stitched onto cane torso. Bag covered with supplementary warp patterned cloth blue, white cotton.
