Object Description
Stepped corner in complementary weft float weave. Cut from 1-2 plainweave cloth (z-2s warp, z pairs). Diag. rows interlocked birds woven in comp. weft floats with weft substitution. The corner is 2 layers, each woven on half the warps. One side has extra wefts of camelid: pink, yellow, tan. Other side uses white and brown cotton with small amounts of yellow and pink camelid. At the bottom of each layer a tubular warp selvage, covered with serrated designs in extra weft floats.
