Object Description
Two corners, 4 incomplete sides of border, surrounding diamonds in weft-faced plainweave, spaced on open warps. Borders: row of "feathers" along outer edge, two sides; row of 3-branch plants on inner edge. Other 2 sides: fish-like motifs. Warp: white cotton, (s-2z), 10 epcm. Weft: purple, blue-green, gold, white camelid on red ground, (z-2s), 38 epcm. Openwork portion: warp: cotton, (s-2z), 6 epcm.; weft: gold, blue, purple, camelid, (z-2s); white cotton, (z), (z-pairs).
