Object Description
Textile fragment; square with feline head in center, flanked by two "rampart" spotted felines in profile. Felines: tan, pink, dark brown, white, on red ground. Woven in tapestry with single interlocking joins on natural cotton warp (z-2s, 19 epcm.). Warp ends chained. This square cut from larger cloth. One warp selvage. Weft: camelid, (z-2s), 60 epcm.
