Object Description
Shoulder poncho - plain weave 2 ply cotton (tan) with embroidered boarders of entwined double-headed serpents & small animals in oval space in wool of yellow, green, blue, purple on rose-red background; Shoulder poncho (or esclavina) from mummy bundle.. Rectangle of plainweave natural brown cotton (2s) with stem stitch embroidered border (5 cm. width) neck slit and outer edges. Pair of double-headed entwined serpents repeated in green, yellow, and dark blue camelid on red camelid ground (all 2s). Edges finished in cross-knit looping with a reverse "s" motif in same yarns.
