Object Description
Square cloth with coarse central area of open 1-2 plainweave; at each end is a broad border (10 cm.) of complex weft floatweave. Rows of birds are done in black and white camelid (z-2s), brown and white cotton (z-2s +1), yellow and white combinations. Additional rows of lozenges are woven in black, pink, and yellow camelid, and white cotton using weft substitution. Four selvages. Warp: cotton, z-2s, 7 epcm. Weft: 2 cotton, (z), 3 epcm.; camelid, z-2s; cotton, z-2s.
