Object Description
Textile panel of slit tapestry with paired figures: a profile bird with fish and a frontal man holding 2 staffs. Each wears a large headdress. The 2 figures are repeated 4 times, vertically, alternating position each time. Ground color is a bright magenta; figures are white, gold, tan, light green, dark green, blue, purple. Across bottom is row of small birds, a zigzag band, and a row of men. Lower edge is torn off. Warp: cotton, S-spun. Weft: camelid, Z-2S. Additional information under Conservation.
