Object Description Textile - Kelim tapestry bag with 3 rows of repeated llama motif; cotton warp, wool weft; yellow background with rose-red & brown designs outlined in black; lined with plain weave brown cotton: Bag; three rows of 5 llamas fill each side; cherry red, tan, gold, outlined in dark brown on yellow ground. Wefts are camelid (z spun and 2s plied) with a small amount of white cotton (2s plied). Warp runs Horizontal and is white cotton (2splied). The cloth is folded double and the warp selvages (1 is cut) stitched together. One warp, two weft selvages.
