Object Description
Textile fragment of warp-faced 1-1 plainweave red camelid (z-2s) with rows of llamas and crosses woven in interlocking tapestry on triple warps. Warp and weft selvages overcast green camelid. Where selvages meet a pouch (5x7 cm.) is attached, woven in same techniques with two rows of miniature llamas; at bottom a red fringe. One warp, one weft selvage. Weft: red camelid ground with dark green, dark blue, yellow, brown, white camelid, (z-2s).
