Object Description
Scene of a Navajo medicine man sitting cross legged on a sheep skin with his medicine bundle open before him. The man wears brown moccasins, white pants, grey shirt, silver concha belt, turquoise necklace, and purple headband. His hair is tied in a traditional knot. Items spread in front of him on a white cloth include several leather pouches, wooden rattles, a wedding basket, half a gourd, sticks, and several boards with fire holes. Mounted on sandstone. Signed on the bottom "Nelson B. Watchman".
