Object Description
Ganado rug. Central panel of a red field, one large concentric striped diamond form in center, beginning with a gray stepped diamond enclosed in an element consisting of a black stepped diamond with half diamond forms at top and bottom; surrounding this red, a lighter gray, and a black stepped diamonds, all enclosed in a red stepped diamond embellished with red stepped triangles at the corners of the steps, and then a gray stepped diamond and an outer stepped black diamond embellished with black step triangles at corners of steps. In each corner of red field a diagonal element formed of three square elements, each square formed of a gray and a black stepped triangle connected diagonally, with a two-stepped-triangle design in gray above the squares.
