Object Description Fragment of very coarse brown cotton with cream running stitch embroidery: Textile portion of open 1-1 plainweave brown cotton with all-over pattern of white crosses created by supplementary warp and weft floats (or embroidery) of white cotton (z-2s). One warp, one weft selvage. Warp: brown cotton, (z-2s), 6 epcm. Weft: brown cotton, (z-2s), 4 epcm.
