Object Description White cotton boy's initiation kilt. Commercial cotton yarn is woven into a rectangle and then has been discolored to a dirty brown with a painted brown circle in two corners with a brown circle in the center. Two ends have very long cordage at the opposite from the corner that has the circle. Commercial cotton yarn and paint. Ethnographcially used in a boy's initiation ceremony. Hopi name Kokom Vitkuna.
