Object Description
Embroidered vest. Natural cotton background with embroidered design that totally encircles the weaving with the bottom band being alternating squares of red and black with white geometric patterns. On the bottom band there is a total of five red and five black squares each. The next are alternating bands of three red bands, four green and three red bands and the next is unit of alternating red and green smaller bands with a hooked fret design. There are three of those on each side of the front but on the back there is only one row and then the back leads into a solid red band with terraced white design elements followed by a solid green band with two stepped diamonds. At the top is a solid red band with two whole and one half ----- triangles and on the front side the only --[see Object Description text entry for extended description]
