Basketry Hat
Descriptions
Object Description
Basketry hat with flared rim, made with coiled bark over a single stick foundation. Exterior of body is coated with white and red-brown clay. The top crest is of bundled leaf fiber. Raffia cordage (2-ply) is attached as a loop to the interior at the rim.
