Length of cloth, 1 breadth; red ground with weft line design of indigo and white threads; lines are either solid or in an ikat pattern; warp lines are also white and indigo, but without ikat; pattern is roughly checkerboard style; ikat lines tend to be bunched together; on the edges there is a dark blue pattern running warp-wise on border; no brocade; no embroidery; stains
